      Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) - Issues Integration

      Autodesk Construction Cloud (Issues)

      Note: BIM 360 issues are not supported at this time.

      What it is:

      Our integration with ACC Issues allows you to automatically create an ACC Observation anytime a sitelink is created. 

      This integration allows you to keep your existing issue workflows in ACC while still taking advantage of Sitelink's rich context-aware data capture. Use Sitelink to mark an issue onsite, capture 3D scans, view BIM overlay or capture photos. Then assign and track your issue in ACC.

      When enabled, creating a new sitelink triggers the creation of an issue (type:observation) in ACC. This observation will contain:

      • URL for your sitelink
      • Title
      • Photos/documents

      The sitelink URL allows you to open the sitelink in our web app and view it in the context of your 3D model. OR if on an iPad/iPhone with the Sitelink app installed, you can use the wayfinding feature to find your sitelink on the jobsite.

      Install Sitelink App in Autodesk (Admin Required):

      Connect ACC Project to Sitelink Project (one-time setup per project, per user):

      In order to perform this step, you must first install the Sitelink App in Autodesk.

      1. Login to app.sitelink.ai
      2. Create a new sitelink or open an existing sitelink
      3. In the sitelink details panel, scroll down to "Integrations" and click the "+" icon
      4. Select "Connect to Autodesk Project"
      5. Login using your Autodesk credentials and grant permissions
      6. Select the Company and Project you would like to link to
        This will link your ACC project to the current Sitelink project. You can only link to one ACC project at a time. Each user will be required to login with their ACC credentials and setup their own project connection.
      7. Your first issue is created and linked
        Click on the issue to open in ACC.

       

      (Sitelink Web Portal) Create an ACC issue

      Using the automatic ACC-issue toggle button
      Once you've connected an ACC project, each time you create a sitelink a linked ACC issue will automatically be created.

      (iOS) Create an ACC issue

      In order to use this feature, you must first complete the connect an ACC project step.

      Using the automatic ACC-issue toggle button

      1. While creating a Sitelink, you can toggle the automatic ACC-issue button on or off.
        ACC-Issue (ON) ACC-Issue (OFF)
        ON

      2. When toggled on, it will automatically generate a linked ACC issue.
        When toggled off, no ACC issue will be created.

      Manually linking an ACC-issue

      1. Open a sitelink and scroll to the bottom of the details panel.
      2. Under integrations, tap the "+" icon.
      3. If you have already connected to an ACC project, this will create a new linked ACC issue.
        If you have not connected an ACC project, this will open app.sitelink.ai where you can complete that step.
